 CHAPTER TWELVE : THE LOVE IS GONE  

In the Hospital, It's been half an hour since Sophia's surgery was over, but she still hasn't regained consciousness. That's why Felix was so worried.

"Did you call Bro?" He asked the Nurse

"His phone is still off" She replied

"I have to go there and meet him"

"But today is his wedding"

"Nothing is important to me, more than my sister" Felix said, and left.

*At Wedding Venue*

When Maria entered the wedding hall, Justin was standing in front of her on stage. Then she went and stood beside him. At that time, she was feeling like that, that place didn't belong to her. Then she whispered "Justin..." and he hummed in response.

As Justin saw him, He quickly went to him, and asked "What happened?"

"Bro... Sophia..."

"Is she all right... Felix, tell me... Is she?" Justin asked

"She had an attack, and she fainted, in emergency I had to do her surgery, but she still could not regain consciousness" Felix replied

"And how much has it been?" "It has been seven hours since she fainted and the surgery was over for two hours ago"

"It's not that much longer" Justin said

"Don't you see, today is his marriage" Mr. Lee said

They reached at the hospital. Justin quickly went into Sophia's room. And saw she was laying on the bed. He went to her and checked her breath, heartbeat and nerves. "This is very strange, even after everything is fine, she is not in conscious"

"Bro, please do something" Felix said

“Let’s give her some time” Justin said

“But bro…”

“Did you know Felix, only 17.4% of patients regained their consciousness in 1 hour, and nearly half of patients recovered their consciousness within 2 hours. Less than 20% of patients had emergence time from general anesthesia longer than 3 hours… so just give her some time, and yes, go and inform his father about her surgery”

While holding her hand, he said “I’m sorry Sophia I left you like this… I’m so sorry… I’m sorry to leave you alone at the time you need me… But you know what, If I had not left you here, I would have never known how much I loved you.” then Felix came there, so he just leave her hand and sit straight.

“Uncle is very upset and angry, he is coming by the first flight…” Felix said while sitting at the other side of the bed.

~ After Sometime ~

They were still sitting with Sophia and then Felix phone rang, while looking at the phone screen he said “Maria, why is she calling me?” Then while extending his phone towards Justin he said “Maybe she wants to talk to you” Justin didn’t say anything, he just took Felix phone and went out of the room…

*On Call*

“What happened?” Justin asked, with the cold voice

“How’s she right now… Is she woke up?” Maria asked from the other side

“No, she is still unconscious”

“So are you coming or not… Because I can't stop these people any longer” and before Justin said anything, from the behind of Maria, Justin hear the voice of Mr. Lee “Is he coming or not?”

“Tell him that I am not coming” Justin replied

“But Justin…”

“And yes he didn’t want to forgive me after this then tell me, So that I never show him my face”

“Justin, how can you say this… He is your dad…”

And suddenly Felix came out of the room and in a hyper tone he said “Bro… Sophia…” Justin ended the call and quickly went to him “What happened” and in a hurry he entered into the room, He saw that her oxygen level, her heartbeat and blood pressure everything is going down. “Increase the oxygen level” Justin said, as Felix increase it Justin use Defibrillator of her chest nearby her heart. He used it one time, two time, but didn’t see any changes. Then he increased the power and use it, at the third time her heartbeat become normal around 40bpm. Then he gave her the injection.

After that, Justin calls a nurse and asked her to call Dr. Milly. “But Dr. her duty is over, she just left the hospital”

“Do you have any ear problem or what… I said call her… Go out of the room, use the phone and call her” Justin said while being angry on her. And just nodded and left from there.

“Bro, what is this going on… Why does she not regain her conscious… Bro, I am having too many bad thoughts” Felix said

“Don’t worry everything will be fine” Justin said, and then he thought ‘I’m also having a lot of bad thoughts… but the thing is I can’t even tell you that all these symptoms are pointing just one side…’

“Bro, what are you thinking?”

“Nothing…”

After sometime, Dr. Milly came there. “Dr. Justin, is everything okay…”

“Dr. Milly, I want you do her some tests…” Justin replied

“Okay, tell me which tests…” She asked

“CT scan, EEG and MRI… and yes be careful about every minor details”

“Okay, don’t worry…”

After that, with the help of the few nurses, Milly took Sophia from there. And all the time, Justin and Felix were waiting outside the test room for the test to be completed. After a few hours, Dr. Milly came out of the room and found Justin and Felix standing there “You both are waiting here?” She asked

“Hmm, You tell me how was the reports” Justin asked

“You go and take some rest in your cabin, I will send you the report within an hour” Milly said

“No, I’m okay here” Justin replied

“Bro I think she is right, look at your eyes how swollen they are” Felix said

“I'm not just talking to him, I'm talking to you too” Milly said while looking at Felix.

“Okay we are going, you just take care of her” Justin said. Then they both went to their own cabins.

When Justin went to his cabin, while sitting on the chair he was just thinking about Sophia and her reports, ‘I wish that the correct reports come true, and something happens that the guess I had made turns out to be wrong’ and while just thinking about her, he fell a sleep because he was very tired and upset since yesterday.

~After Sometime~

Justin woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. “Yes?” He asked, while rubbing his eyes. Then a nurse entered into the cabin with a file and while giving it to the Justin she said “Sir, here are the reports of Miss Sophia” He took the reports from her and she left. He was about to open the reports, when someone knock on the door. “Come in” He said, and Felix entered into the room with Mr. Charlie. As Justin saw him he stood up and said “Mr. Charlie, can you just give me a few minutes, I’ll call you”

“Firstly, Dr. Justin, you tell me what happened to my daughter?” Mr. Charlie

“Sir, I just received her reports, I’ll tell you after I read them… So please just give me some time…” Justin said

“Uncle, let’s wait outside” Felix said, and he took him out of the room.

As they went out Justin look at the first report, the report of her EEG test and a smile appeared on his face as he read the report, because everything was normal in it. And then he started reading another report, the report of MRI, as soon as he started reading it the smile on his face disappeared, and he said to himself “It’s okay… it’s not a big deal… everything will be fine” then he took a deep breath and started reading the report, the report of CT scan, And as soon as he read the reports, tears welled up in his eyes, his face turned red, and he angrily threw all the reports on the wall in front of him, and he shouted “No… It can't be… I don't believe it's true… Never…”
